Ohio State Remains No. 4 in College Football Playoff Rankings Ahead of Matchup With Michigan State | Eleven Wa – Eleven Warriors

Ohio State is still No. 4.

After a blowout win over Purdue on Saturday, the Buckeyes are still among the top-four teams in eyes of the committee, checking in at No. 4 in the latest College Football Playoff rankings.

Nothing has changed for Ohio State. The Buckeyes have a chance to further bolster their College Football Playoff resume in the coming weeks with games against quality opponents or play themselves out with a loss.

Ohio State will now begin its stretch run with back-to-back games against top-10 teams with a home showdown with No. 7 Michigan State this weekend followed by a road matchup with No. 6 Michigan in Ann Arbor.

With wins against the Spartans and the Wolverines, the Buckeyes would punch their ticket to a fifth-straight Big Ten Championship game where they would almost certainly meet another ranked opponent, likely either No. 15 Wisconsin or No. 19 Wisconsin.
